i had a great stay here for about a month and a half. check-in was smooth and easy with self check-in, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful with very fast replies. the location in otsuka is excellent — about a 7-minute walk to the jr yamanote line, with quick access to major areas: ikebukuro ~10 min, shinjuku ~20, shibuya ~30, ueno ~20, tokyo station ~30. it’s very convenient but still feels local and quiet. the marunouchi and mita metro lines are also within walking distance. the apartment is well set up for long stays, with a washing machine, ac, a desk, and fast wifi for remote work/calls (once in a while i had to reconnect wifi after my laptop woke up). there’s a supermarket nearby plus lots of cafes and restaurants. the balcony view is lovely, with a wide city skyline and skytree visible. note: as of december 2025 there’s construction nearby starting around 8:30, so light sleepers may want earplugs. overall, i was very happy and would definitely recommend.
